Listen, it's the same thing with Holosun that happened a few years ago: It's cheap Chinese garbage that nobody should use...until several prominent Gun Tubers prove how great it is and then suddenly everyone was always on board the Holosun train.
I've had several Olight WMLs mounted for years on everything from 10mm to 12 gauge. Not a single issue. The 10mm Not A Glock 20 above went over 1000 rounds of mostly 220gr heavy loads with no issues with a Olight Baldr-Mini. I recently (last year?) swapped it with the Baldr-S just because they had a limited run of OD green ones, but the mini is still working on my Sig M17 now.
There's tradeoff for everything. Yes, if you are going to be using the light in constant on, it'll drop lumens after a few minutes to deal with the heat. But, then again, why are you using your WML in constant on mode?
