Olights bad? Naw, not really.

Listen, it's the same thing with Holosun that happened a few years ago: It's cheap Chinese garbage that nobody should use...until several prominent Gun Tubers prove how great it is and then suddenly everyone was always on board the Holosun train.

I've had several Olight WMLs mounted for years on everything from 10mm to 12 gauge. Not a single issue. The 10mm Not A Glock 20 above went over 1000 rounds of mostly 220gr heavy loads with no issues with a Olight Baldr-Mini. I recently (last year?) swapped it with the Baldr-S just because they had a limited run of OD green ones, but the mini is still working on my Sig M17 now.

There's tradeoff for everything. Yes, if you are going to be using the light in constant on, it'll drop lumens after a few minutes to deal with the heat. But, then again, why are you using your WML in constant on mode?

Mould King Videos doing very well for me

Excuse the messy desk, I'm super busy with videos right now.

Just posted a video review of the Mould King Millennium Falcon, and it's by far the fastest view growing video I have ever posted. https://youtu.be/Q-cDmcqHyRQ It's also directing traffic to my other Mould King reviews. So, I think I'm definitely going to be doing a lot more MK review videos in the future. I have the Super Star Destroyer right now, and then I think I will do the Venator, as Lego just released a UCS of that set I can compare it to.

I'm working on a comparison video between the MK and the knock off Lego UCS Falcon. I don't want to post it too quickly after this one though, as I think it will rob views from this one once it is done. (I've made that mistake in the past.)

As you can see from the picture, both Falcons are essentially the exact same dimensions on the outside. It's really all about the look you want (both are based on different movie models) and the amount of work you want to do on it after you build it. (both need work, one needs a LOT more work.)

Seven Star Tactical - First item review that was sent to us by a manufacturer on this channel! Q.A.P.S. Bag from 945 Industries!

Seven Star Bricks Blooper Reel

Do you like bloopers? I like bloopers. Who doesn't like bloopers? Here's my first blooper reel from Seven Star Bricks. Enjoy!

The post where I post about posting here.

Hi, my name is Jeremy, but I go by J. Why? Because my first roommates were lazy and couldn't be bothered to pronounce my whole name and it stuck. (And because "Big Guy" is not a preferable alternative.) Also, I didn't get to choose my name, but I did get to choose my nickname.

You could possibly recognize me from my You Tube channels. They're not huge, but combined I have about 3,000 followers so far.

There's Seven Star Bricks, on which I make videos about my Lego and building brick addiction. https://www.youtube.com/c/SevenStarBricks

Then there is Seven Star Tactical, on which I make videos about guns, gear, and whatever topics may tangentially relate to those. https://www.youtube.com/c/SevenStarTactical

And finally (for now) there's Seven Star Mountain, wherein I make videos about...well, everything else. It used to be Off Topic, where I dumped videos I wanted to make but didn't fit the themes of my other channels, but then my wife and I started a farm, so now it's supposed to be farm videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDQ_EaxB6tZAImLCqf6CI5A

My two main channels are essentially full time jobs. I am now getting copies of things to review on both channels from manufacturers and retailers, so I'm quite busy testing, filming, editing, and shoving those videos out the door.

The farm is a part time job right now, although in the summer the farm and my You Tube kind of swap places. I'm not pounding in fence posts in 30 degree weather.

Why am I posting on a new blog? Because I want to write more. I've been working on several novels for years. I have had several paid writing positions in my life and although I never earned enough from writing to live on I enjoy it. So I'm doing a combined brand blog here.

Also, I have ADHD, so I tend to start a ton of things and then...SQUIRREL!
